We are developing product lines and looking for a manager who will find promising ideas, turn them into real products, and oversee the launch of new product lines.
We need a person who can combine product thinking, interest in consumer goods, and a systematic approach to project implementation.
What you will be doing:
- Searching for new product ideas. Analyzing the market, trends, competitors, customer needs, and manufacturer proposals. Identifying promising product areas, materials, and technologies;
- Developing and validating product concepts. Defining the target audience, value proposition, and characteristics of the future product, assessing demand, competitive landscape, price segment, and economics;
- Working with samples and testing. Selecting and ordering samples, comparing options and suppliers, organizing testing, collecting feedback, and forming requirements for improvements;
- Participating in product development. Collaborating with design, production, procurement, and marketing to refine materials, specifications, design, packaging, and visual presentation;
- Managing the launch process. Maintaining a release calendar, coordinating project team members, monitoring deadlines, dependencies, and the readiness of all components for market launch;
- Analyzing launch results. Evaluating sales, customer feedback, and the outcomes of product hypotheses, proposing improvements, new versions, and scaling opportunities.
This vacancy is for you if:
- You are ready for an office-based work format with a transition to a hybrid model in St. Petersburg;
- You have over 1 year of experience in developing and launching physical consumer goods in product management, category management, product marketing, or related fields;
- You understand the full product creation cycle: from market research and concept development to sample testing, production, launch, and results analysis;
- You can independently validate product hypotheses, analyze competitors, consumer demand, and product economics;
- You possess project management skills: you can plan stages, monitor deadlines, consider risks, and coordinate the work of different teams;
- You follow trends, are interested in modern products, design, and new technologies, and can find promising ideas;
- You are proficient with Excel / Google Sheets and can make data-driven decisions;
- You can articulate your ideas, negotiate with colleagues, and see things through to completion.
- You have a completed higher education.
It will be an advantage if you have: experience working with manufacturers in China, contract manufacturing, marketplaces, accessories, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle products.
