🔥 PostgreSQL Administrator / DBA with CBS We are looking for a specialist for a project on development and maintenance of a Centralized Automated Banking System with PostgreSQL. 📌 What you will do: • Maintain and develop the "BANK 21 VEK" CBS; • Administer production, test, and UAT PostgreSQL databases; • Support users, install updates, and resolve discrepancies; • Analyze and optimize SQL queries and their execution plans; • Develop DB objects: PL/pgSQL, procedures, functions, triggers, complex and materialized views; • Create new reports in the CBS; • Configure and monitor Streaming Replication, Patroni, cluster balancing, and fault tolerance; • Manage access rights to DB objects; • Perform backup and restore (pg_dump, Barman); • Monitor DB status, disk space, and resource utilization; • Participate in incident resolution with vendor technical support; • Develop scripts for automating routine operations. 💻 What is important: • 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL in administration and development; • Proficient PL/pgSQL: loops, cursors, exceptions, dynamic SQL, arrays, and composite types; • Deep understanding of PostgreSQL optimization: EXPLAIN ANALYZE, BUFFERS, indexes, partitioning; • Experience configuring PostgreSQL: shared_buffers, work_mem, effective_cache_size, etc.; • Practical experience with B-tree, GiST, GIN, BRIN; • Experience with Patroni, etcd/Consul, PgBouncer; • Knowledge of monitoring tools: Prometheus, Zabbix, postgres_exporter, pg_stat_activity, pg_stat_statements; • Confident Linux user, Bash/Python; • Experience in designing relational data models, understanding OLTP/OLAP. 🏦 Banking specifics - mandatory: • Experience with banking software "Inversion" / "BANK 21 VEK"; • Experience with at least one key module: RKO (Current Account Operations) or General Ledger; • Ability to independently understand the structure of table metadata, service directories, and logs of proprietary CBS; • Understanding of banking processes: account opening/closing, transactions, client card; • Knowledge of the basics of the chart of accounts and reporting forms; • Understanding of ISO 20022, UFES, SPFS formats; • Basic knowledge of Russian legislation requirements for banking software; • Understanding of integration via SMEV. ⭐️ Will be a big plus: • Experience with currency purchase/sale operations accounting; • Knowledge of clearing processes; • Experience in writing automation scripts.
