Hello! This is the team from the online school «Foxford». «Foxford» is a product-based EdTech company. For 16 years, we have been providing online education for schoolchildren, their parents, and teachers. We have over 13 million users on our platform, 4 learning formats, and 1400 employees. According to the results of 2024 and 2025, we are the #1 company in the children's EdTech market by revenue in the Smart Ranking. We are also the #1 employer in the "Science and Education" industry for the third consecutive year according to HH.
Last year, we launched an online college (currently, over 190 students are enrolled), and this year we plan for exponential growth through organic traffic and the launch of new learning programs. We are now looking for a business lead who will be responsible for the development strategy of secondary vocational education (SVE) with a focus on revenue and profitability growth. We would be happy to meet candidates who already have experience developing products in formal education: colleges, bachelor's, or master's programs 🧡
Responsibilities
What's important to us
— Experience in a business/product role in EdTech within formal education (ideally in the secondary vocational education market);
— The key KPI in your previous role was financial results (revenue/profitability), with a level of financial responsibility of at least 300 million rubles/year;
— Ability to calculate and work with metrics, deep understanding of unit economics, skill in calculating economics for new project launches. Ideally, full P&L calculation + cohort analysis;
— Proven experience in successfully launching a business unit or product from scratch and its further development, launching complex cross-functional processes; or scaling a business unit/product from 1 to 100 (experience of exponential growth);
— Understanding of the specifics of cross-functional operations and their tools (ideally in the secondary vocational education market): marketing, sales, academic team, customer support, legal, finance, product development;
— Proven experience in successfully building partnership projects/relationships, where you are not only the key decision-maker but also an employee of the partner company;
— Ability to conduct negotiations with partners or counterparties;
— Understanding of the regulatory specifics of secondary vocational education or the desire/ability to quickly grasp the regulations;
— Experience managing a cross-functional team: ability to set goals, negotiate, and control the results of a project team where employees do not report to you directly;
— Love for analytics, ability to read charts, get to the root of issues, draw conclusions, communicate them to the team, and make decisions based on them;
— User research: you understand why it's important to regularly study customer needs and know how to do it (customer development interviews, focus groups, A/B testing, etc.);
