Hello! This is the team from the online school «Foxford».
«Foxford» is the largest online school for children in Russia. For 16 years, we have been providing online education for schoolchildren, their parents, and teachers. We aim not just to grow with the market, but to significantly increase our share of paying users while maintaining business efficiency.
Strategically, we are planning a transition to a Product-Led Growth model: the product itself should become a self-sufficient channel for user acquisition, activation, nurturing, retention, and conversion to payment.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a Head of Growth who can focus and build the work of the product team to implement the Product-Led Growth strategy. We need a senior product leader from the mass B2C segment with proven growth cases.
Experience in EdTech is not required. We are more interested in experience from mass B2C sectors (fintech, foodtech, etc.), where growth had to be achieved in a competitive environment with expensive acquisition and high demands on release speed.
What you will do
You will lead the Growth product team. Your main goal is to implement the Product-Led Growth strategy.
Here’s what you’ll be doing in this position:
- build a pipeline for continuous generation and testing of hypotheses. The key task is to radically increase the speed of product hypothesis/experiment testing and reduce Time-to-Market;
- develop a well-founded data-driven user routing system: when the product sells itself, and when the user is seamlessly handed over to the sales department with all the necessary context;
- build a unified purchase and payment flow to make acquiring products as simple as possible and not requiring sales department assistance;
- implement and develop mechanics that ensure high activation, registration, and user engagement metrics before purchase;
- develop product mechanics that implement organic PLG growth loops (including an updated referral system).
We're a match if you:
- have managed products or teams where growth was a key responsibility;
- have successful growth cases in a mass, highly competitive market and can explain them in numbers;
- have experience boosting growth through PLG mechanics (freemium, referral systems, and others);
- can quickly break down growth into drivers, limitations, and areas of effort;
- know how to choose a focus and defend it to stakeholders;
- have experience in accelerated development and/or testing of product hypotheses without development;
- know how to manage a team: set the bar, help focus, grow strong product managers, and synchronize product, analytics, design, marketing, and sales;
- are accustomed to being accountable for results in product and business metrics.
What will be considered success:
Within 3 months, we expect you to:
- conduct an audit of the PLG strategy, create and prioritize a backlog of growth initiatives to improve key product metrics;
- ensure the first releases show results in metrics;
- ensure an increase in the speed of the hypothesis → MVP → experiment → scaling / rejection cycle;
Within 6 months, we expect that:
- the PLG loop contributes measurably to the growth of the paying user base;
- self-sustaining growth loops have been implemented;
- the release speed has significantly increased / Time-to-Market has been reduced.
Why it's great here:
- the opportunity to influence the strategy of one of the largest EdTech products in Russia;
- a strong team and a dynamic environment, with many strategic tasks and challenges;
- our products and the work on them are a real contribution to children's education;
- there is an opportunity to directly influence and improve the product;
- choose your preferred work format – we're okay with full remote (within Russia) and working from our great office near Tulskaya metro station (Moscow);
- official employment (white salary, vacation);
- market-based salary + annual review based on performance review results;
- work according to agile principles, adequate planning, and clear goals;
- flexible start of the day: the result is what matters most to us;
- we provide equipment – Macbook or Windows of your choice;
- health care: VHI with dental care, corporate psychologist, sick leave compensation, online training. And if you catch a cold – we’ll send you a vitamin box);
- development: learning foreign languages through corporate courses, discounts on «Foxford» products, access to an online library, and compensation for external training;
- we are accredited as an IT company.
