Systems Analyst Middle+/Senior

Since 2016, we have been developing and supporting our own ecosystem “Path,” which allows our business to effectively work with clients and automates business processes such as: sales within the company and through partners, client loan settlement, client communications, document management, client lending, payment processing, and marketing. The system is used by over 2500 employees of our FinTech company, who handle the full cycle of tasks related to the settlement of our clients' loan debts. The company's head office is located in USA, California, Irvine. Development teams are distributed globally and are located in different countries and time zones.

What you will be doing:

• In conjunction with product managers, groom ideas for product development and help bring these ideas to fruition.
• Assist product managers in understanding the existing system functionality (provide feedback on business ideas and explain how everything works internally).
• Evaluate the complexity of improvements, identify dependencies, and analyze the impact of system changes.
• Design solutions from start to finish: services and their contracts, data models, algorithms, and system operation scenarios.
• Decompose user stories into tasks understandable by developers.
• Create technical documentation for implemented features.

Stack: Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Markdown, draw.io, plantUML, Swagger (OpenAPI 3.0)

You will be a great fit if:

• You have 3+ years of experience in system analysis and are ready to solve complex problems independently.
• You design complex data models and have a good command of SQL.
• You understand how distributed systems work.
• You know how to design a high-quality RESTful API.
• You independently delve into new functional areas and are willing to gather information piece by piece from various sources.
• You competently decompose and structure information for developers.
• You are not afraid to read and understand the source code of commercial projects/You know one of the programming languages.
• English B2 or higher (there are English-speaking PMs in the team).
• Location: outside of Russia/Belarus, GMT+4 and to the west.

Will be a plus:

• Experience working in FinTech.
• Understanding of product life cycles and development processes.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML.
