Head of Digital Design Team / Lead Designer
Hi there!
We are iSpring — a Russian IT company that creates platforms for corporate learning. Our products (iSpring Suite and iSpring LMS) are included in global rankings and help companies around the world train employees effectively.
We have a large ecosystem: in addition to development, we manage the "Letyuchiy Korabl" private kindergarten, the Infotech IT Lyceum, and the iSpring Institute. For us, design is not just about "making it look good," but a working tool for solving business problems.
What you will be doing:
- Building a system. Integrating the work of designers into a unified mechanism so that the department runs like clockwork: predictably, transparently, and without missed deadlines;
- Influencing results. Reviewing the team's work, distributing tasks, and sometimes taking on the most complex or critical tasks yourself;
- Participating in the full work cycle. From the brief and clarifying the technical requirements with the client to forming the concept, checking, approving, and submitting the layout;
- Developing the team. Helping designers grow, conducting retrospectives, instilling systemic thinking and a sense of responsibility for the visual product;
- Proposing and implementing hypotheses. We expect you to be not just an executor, but someone who sees how design can improve product and marketing metrics.
We expect you to have:
- 3–5 years of design experience, of which at least 1–2 years managing a team or acting as a lead designer influencing processes;
- The ability to build systems: not just to "draw," but to see how to organize the work of several people to achieve consistently high results;
- An understanding of how design affects business metrics, and the ability to propose and test hypotheses;
- Proficiency in Figma and the Adobe suite at an advanced level, a strong sense of composition, typography, and a high level of visual awareness;
- The ability and desire to work with clients: to conduct effective briefings, listen to needs, justify decisions, and defend concepts;
- Readiness to take responsibility for the team's results and the overall quality of the direction;
- Systemic thinking, not getting lost in a large flow of disparate tasks, but structuring them.
What we offer:
- Work on diverse tasks. You won't get bored: today you might create a banner for an international release, tomorrow a presentation for top management, and the day after, branded merchandise for an event;
- Opportunities for professional and managerial growth. We cover external training and support initiatives. You will have space to launch design conferences, teach, and mentor;
- A real role in the development of the department. You won't just be hired into a ready-made system, but will influence the team's structure, processes, and efficiency;
- Flexible schedule and remote work. You can work from home or from our office — the main thing is that you are online during Moscow business hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM);
- Stability. We have been on the market for 20+ years, salaries are always on time, and we offer a benefits package;
- A friendly team. We don't have excessive bureaucracy, we have respect, support, and a desire to create cool products.
