BetBoom, a betting holding company, is looking for a Director of Brand and Communications.
The company is in the process of establishing a full-fledged brand function. Basic processes are already in place, however, the person joining the team will be responsible for creating the brand development strategy, analytics and performance evaluation system, as well as scalable creative production processes.
In this role, you will lead a team of 10+ people with the prospect of further growth and will be responsible for brand development, creativity, and communications. You will define how the brand looks, sounds, and is perceived by the audience in different markets, as well as ensure its consistent development and recognition.
Responsibilities: Brand Development:
- Develop a brand strategy for a multi-brand portfolio: positioning, brand architecture, tone of voice, and visual identity system.
- Lead the launch of new brands in international markets: from naming and identity development to the formation of a communication platform and local adaptation.
- Conduct audience and competitive environment research to make data-driven decisions.
Brand Analytics:
- Build a brand performance evaluation system: define key metrics, select analytics tools, and implement regular monitoring.
- Develop an approach to assessing the brand's impact on business results: revenue, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), LTV, and other indicators.
- Formulate a top-level marketing funnel strategy and justify brand investments based on analytics.
Creative Production:
- Develop the design team, transforming it into a modern AI-first production function.
- Expand the team's expertise in motion design, video production, and copywriting.
- Implement AI tools in production processes to scale content output across different markets.
Communications:
- Define the social media development strategy and oversee the work of the SMM team.
- Lead the PR function, media relations, and crisis communications.
- Develop sponsorship projects, brand events, and special activations.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in marketing.
- At least 5 years in leadership positions in brand and communications (Director level and above).
- Experience with digital B2C products, preferably in iGaming, fintech, sports media, entertainment, or gaming industries.
- Fluent English.
Expertise:
- Experience launching a new brand into a new market from scratch.
- Experience developing brand architecture for multiple brands or an international brand: positioning, brand platform, brand book, and visual identity system.
Analytics:
- Experience setting up Brand Tracking using Kantar, YouGov, Tracksuit, or proprietary research panels.
- Experience building models that link brand metrics to business indicators.
- Experience preparing and defending business cases justifying investments in Upper Funnel and brand marketing.
Creative Production:
- Experience managing creative teams of 5+ people (in-house or agencies) producing over 500 creative assets per month (static, video, motion).
- Hands-on experience implementing AI tools in production workflows, not just testing them.
Sponsorship and Budgets:
- Experience conducting and executing sponsorship deals valued at $500K or more.
- Experience managing a brand marketing budget of $3M+ per year.
Additional advantage would be:
