Fleet Management System Product Manager for the Delivery Robot Development Team

Yandex offers a fresh perspective on order delivery from stores and restaurants: we want deliveries to be handled not only by people but also by robots. Our product is both interesting and complex, as it combines several different fields: we design the delivery robot's construction ourselves, write intelligent software for it, learn to manage the robot fleet coherently, and build tools to manage all processes surrounding the robot—from distribution and updates to remote monitoring and interaction with operators. One of the key elements is an efficient platform for managing robots and all processes around them. It is precisely the development of this platform that the future manager will be engaged in.

What tasks await you

Ensuring the efficient operation of the fleet and the ecosystem around it You will be responsible for robot tools as a whole. Your responsibilities will include managing the distribution of robots among partners and zones, controlling software updates and configurations on the robots, optimizing existing tools and operational processes surrounding the robot. We value your willingness to participate in developing systems for interaction with external contractors and operators, improving efficiency, and automating the actions of remote operators.

We expect you to

• Have PM experience in B2B platforms or complex technological products
• Understand how to build systems where HW, SW, and operations converge
• Can structure large volumes of information, identify key points, and establish connections
• Balance between implementing new features and managing technical debt
• Confidently work with data and independently perform basic analytics
• Are ready to build a product from scratch in conditions of high uncertainty

Will be a plus

• Have developed or managed complex logistics systems
• Know the principles of warehouse process organization and fleet management tools
• Have participated in scaling high-load or distributed systems
