The "Replenishment" product is the strategic core of the company's inventory management. It determines which product, where, in what volume, and when should be in stock, directly impacting sales, gross margin, turnover, inventory capital level, and business operational stability. The product is part of assortment management and involves participation in the operational process of introducing new brands, managing assortments, rotation, and assortment withdrawal processes.
The role assumes full responsibility for the product's business results, the development of replenishment methodology, and the scaling of solutions across the entire network / sales channels / assortment withdrawal and rotation.
— Formulate the strategy for the "Replenishment" product, as well as inventory management methodology and rules
— Formulate the assortment management strategy
— Translate business goals into product strategy
— Be responsible for key business metrics
— Make trade-off decisions between availability and overstock, sales and turnover, service level and write-offs
— Argue and defend product solutions at the top management level
— Apply inventory management principles: EOQ, safety stock, min/max, DRP/MRP, OTIF, ABC/XYZ, buffer management, etc.
— Senior / Lead Product Manager experience of 5+ years
— Deep experience in retail / e-commerce / FMCG / supply chain
— Strong business expertise and understanding of P&L
— Practical experience in implementing and scaling replenishment methodologies
— Experience in making decisions based on metrics and economics, not features
— Develop and maintain a data-driven product roadmap (sales analytics, stock levels, shipments, logistics constraints, seasonality)
— Analyze metric deviations (increase in out-of-stock, stock aging, decrease in OTIF) and initiate steps to achieve results
— Experience implementing ERP / replenishment systems (SAP, Dynamics 365, Oracle, ABM, Manhattan)
— Experience with demand forecasting and ML
— Experience managing distributed teams
— Assortment management experience
— Omnichannel models and e-commerce experience
— Experience scaling solutions to 1000+ stores / SKUs
