About the Role
As we continue to scale our business, we’re looking for a strong Lead of Analytics to build and lead our analytics function — ensuring data becomes a strategic driver of product growth, operational excellence, and business performance across all regions.
As Lead Analytics at Larixon, you will be responsible for building, scaling, and leading the analytics team and you will play a key role in driving data-informed decisions across our product teams.
You will define analytics strategy, establish data governance standards, develop scalable frameworks for experimentation and reporting, and ensure that product and business decisions are grounded in reliable, high-quality data.
This role combines hands-on expertise with strategic leadership. You will work closely with C-level stakeholders and product leadership to align analytics initiatives with company-wide goals and long-term growth strategy.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership & Operating Model
- Define and execute the company-wide analytics strategy aligned with OKRs and business priorities.
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing analytics team, including hiring, mentoring, role design, capacity planning, performance management, and career development (IC and Lead tracks).
- Establish a goal-oriented operating model focused on measurable business outcomes rather than ad-hoc reporting.
- Foster a culture of data-informed decision-making with clear ownership, fast feedback loops, and accountability for impact.
- Design and implement structured decision-making loops: metric → hypothesis → experiment/analysis → decision → impact monitoring, ensuring insights translate into action.
- Own the company-wide metrics system, including the North Star metric and KPI hierarchy, with clear definitions, governance, ownership, and a single source of truth.
Product, Growth & Business Impact
- Partner with Product and Business leadership to define KPI systems across markets and product areas.
- Identify growth opportunities across user funnels, engagement, monetization, retention, and marketplace dynamics.
- Provide strategic insights into user behavior and cross-market performance differences.
- Oversee experimentation strategy and A/B testing methodology, ensuring statistical rigor and scalable processes.
- Define when to run or skip experiments, set guardrails, conduct SRM checks, define power/MDE standards, and establish clear interpretation principles.
- Maintain consistent metric definitions across regions while aligning local and global analytics approaches.
Analytics Infrastructure & Data Governance
- Design scalable analytics architecture and metric layers (semantic layer, data marts) enabling reliable self-serve analytics.
- Own tracking governance: event taxonomy, analytics specifications, documentation, and data definitions.
- Ensure high data quality standards, tracking accuracy, dataset reliability, and reduce time-to-insight.
- Contribute to the development of product-specific analytical datasets in collaboration with Data Engineering.
Stakeholder & Executive Collaboration
- Act as a strategic partner to Product, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership teams.
- Translate complex analytical insights into clear narratives, structured trade-offs, and actionable recommendations for C-level stakeholders.
- Lead decision forums by clarifying options, expected impact, and ensuring post-decision outcome tracking.
- Build dashboards and executive reporting systems focused on enabling decisions rather than passive reporting.
What We Expect
- 6+ years of experience in data, product or business analytics, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
