VK is looking for a Lead Product Manager for Correspondence, who will be responsible for the development of one of the messenger's key areas. This area includes personal and group chats, as well as everything related to messages and user interaction in correspondence.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the strategy and development of the "Correspondence" area: form the vision, goals, priorities, and product roadmap.
- Develop key correspondence scenarios: personal chats, group chats, and message-related features.
- Manage the product backlog for the area, define priorities, and ensure team focus on tasks with the greatest impact.
- Lead the area through the full product development cycle: from identifying problems and formulating hypotheses to launching solutions, analyzing results, and scaling successful changes.
- Synchronize the work of cross-functional teams: development, design, analytics, research, and testing.
- Formulate and agree on functional, business, and technical requirements together with the team.
- Analyze user behavior, identify growth opportunities, and evaluate the impact of changes on product and business metrics.
- Develop a culture of A/B experiments and a data-driven approach within the area.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, justify product decisions, and ensure transparent communication on status and results.
- Help the team grow professionally: enhance product expertise, build processes, and improve the quality of decisions made.
Requirements:
- Experience managing a product area or a large product scope in a complex mobile B2C product.
- Experience working with products with a large number of user scenarios, product logic, and technical dependencies.
- Ability to form a product strategy, decompose it into goals, metrics, initiatives, and a roadmap.
- Strong prioritization skills: ability to choose tasks with maximum impact and defend product decisions with arguments.
- Experience working directly with developers, designers, analysts, researchers, testers, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to identify problems, assess their scale, formulate hypotheses, and express the benefits of solutions in numbers.
- Confident command of the data-driven approach: ability to work with metrics, analyze data, and make decisions based on them.
- Experience launching A/B experiments and interpreting their results.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and build clear communication at different levels.
- Understanding of web and mobile application architecture, as well as API principles.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid format in Moscow.
