The role involves forming and implementing a portfolio of IT initiatives for foreign branches on behalf of the business line. Specifics include cross-border operations, requirements from multiple jurisdictions, and distributed work of teams from the Head Office, branches, and external contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and prioritize a portfolio of initiatives for a 1-1.5 year horizon, considering business impact, risks, regulatory requirements, costs, and resource constraints;
- Prepare materials for collegial bodies, support the approval of initiatives and budget defense;
- Act as a business customer: define requirements, manage the backlog, and support tasks until implementation and acceptance;
- Control deadlines, budget, dependencies, and implementation quality, escalating deviations in a timely manner;
- Coordinate the work of Bank divisions, foreign branches, and external contractors;
- Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal Bank standards;
- Monitor the portfolio and prepare management reports;
- Participate in the formation of target IT architecture and the development of client digital services.
Requirements:
- Higher education in economics, finance, management, or IT;
- At least 3 years of experience in IT project or portfolio management in a bank/fintech environment;
- Experience in preparing justifications, budgets, and defending initiatives before management;
- Experience working with contractors: defining requirements, control, and acceptance;
- Understanding of the banking IT landscape, foreign economic activity (FEA) business, and cross-border settlements;
- English language at a working level;
- Ability to work in a matrix structure and make independent decisions under conditions of incomplete data.
Will be an advantage
- Experience in international banking projects or working with foreign branches;
- Experience working with the PRC, knowledge of Chinese language or the regulatory environment of China;
- Experience in developing corporate remote banking services (DBS), CRM, and other client digital services;
- Knowledge of project and portfolio management practices.
