Head of SEO at Fantech
We are creating a centralized SEO function within Fantech services — a team that will systematically develop organic growth for the ecosystem's key services. This is an opportunity to build a direction from scratch, define a strategy, and influence product visibility for millions of users.
Your role is to lay the foundation: from basic processes and tools to forming a team of experts. We will start with the Yandex Afisha service and then scale the best practices to other Yandex products.
You will work at the intersection of technology, analytics, and product thinking, where every step you take will have a measurable impact on business metrics. Our goal is not just stable growth, but creating a benchmark SEO approach within a large technology company.
Strategy and Function Building You will develop and implement an SEO strategy, formulate a roadmap, define areas of responsibility, and build processes for interaction with product teams. You will have to create a function that does not exist today but will become key to the growth of services.
Team Creation and Expertise Development You will assemble and lead an SEO team from scratch, develop internal expertise, and build a culture based on data, experiments, and measurable results.
Development and Implementation of Tools You will design and launch basic tools for monitoring, analyzing, and managing SEO activities. This includes creating data collection systems, dashboards for tracking key metrics, and automating routine processes.
Launch and Scaling of Pilot Projects You will take on the full cycle of SEO promotion for pilot services — Yandex Afisha and Gaming. Using them as examples, you will test hypotheses, prove the effectiveness of the approach, and prepare the ground for scaling to other Yandex services.
Influencing Product Teams You will need to work closely with development, marketing, and analytics of product teams so that SEO principles become part of each service's lifecycle. Your task is not just to give recommendations but to embed SEO into the product's DNA.
