Borodina Meat House is looking for a Chief Financial Officer.
Borodina Meat House has been in natural gastronomy production for 27 years. More than 500 employees, full-cycle own production, federal presence. The company is growing and strengthening its financial department – they are looking for a strong CFO who can manage not only numbers but also production processes.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Resource Management:
- Development of long-term financial strategy: sustainability, profitability, investment attractiveness
- Organization of financial resource flows, control of financial flows, optimization of capital utilization
- Identification of funding sources, preparation and defense of business plans
Cost of Goods Sold and Production Process Management:
- Calculation and in-depth analysis of product cost of goods sold, accounting for stages, cycles, and technological processes
- Plan-fact analysis of cost of goods sold and prices
- Development of cost management policies: raw materials, supplies, energy, logistics, depreciation
- Participation in the development of technologies and recipes to reduce the cost of goods sold
Analytics, Data, Automation:
- Management of the Information and Analytical Center (IAC) with a focus on prices, production, procurement, and cost of goods sold
- Analysis of large data sets: procurement, production, sales – for strategic decisions
- Participation in automation: implementation of accounting systems, integration of production processes and ERP, development of analytical systems
- Internal financial and economic analysis of the company
Financial Reporting and Accounting:
- Organization of accounting for financial flows: RSBU + international standards
- Maintaining double-entry bookkeeping, controlling the accuracy of financial data
- Ensuring the correctness and transparency of reporting
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Organization of the budget cycle: planning, execution control, variance analysis
- Short-term and long-term financial forecasts, corrective measures
Asset and Investment Management:
- Management of company assets, control of obligations and settlement and banking operations
- Development and evaluation of investment projects, calculation of their efficiency
Team and Cross-Functional Management:
- Leadership of the finance department and IAC, team recruitment and development
- Collaboration with production, procurement, logistics, and sales departments
- Change management: automation, process optimization, development of a financial discipline culture
Tax Policy and Audit:
- Development of tax policy, monitoring compliance with requirements
- Organization of internal audit and minimization of financial risks
Requirements
- Higher education: finance, economics, management, planning and organizational fields
- Experience as a Chief Financial Officer in a manufacturing company (food industry)
- Deep understanding of production processes, stages, cycles, and cost of goods sold calculation
- Confident experience with ERP, automation of financial processes, digitalization
- Strong analytical skills: variance analysis, forecasting, working with large data sets
- Cost optimization and production chain efficiency improvement skills
- Leadership: building strong teams, managing change
- Ability to work "on the ground," to understand complex technological processes
- High emotional intelligence
