We are looking for a Financial Business Partner at VK Video.
VK Video is the largest Russian video service: tens of millions of people use it daily. The team faces an ambitious task — to develop the №1 video service in Russia and implement new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a business expert on financial matters for the implementation of the strategy and budget execution plans for assigned areas
- Control of management reporting in the required detail according to IFRS principles
- Plan/actual analysis of management reporting results (monthly), participation in the monthly closing of management reporting in conjunction with other departments (document flow, accounting, IFRS department)
- Budgeting (once a year), forecasting (monthly) of management reporting results
- Approval of contracts/addenda regarding financial terms and compliance with the allocated budget for assigned areas
- Approval of expenditure operations and their correctness in the accounting system (regarding analytics and amounts). Accounting is subsequently handled by the accounting department
- Scope of assigned areas: 1) influencers: ambassador contracts with authors/bloggers through content provision on the platform and promotion of the platform through marketing activities; 2) socio-political agenda: content provision on the platform, conducting offline marketing events
Requirements:
- Higher education in Finance/Accounting and Audit
- Over 5 years of work experience in this specialty
- Management accounting and IFRS: deep understanding of management reporting principles, experience in controlling details and participating in the monthly closing of periods (interaction with accounting and the IFRS department).
- Budgeting and forecasting: solid experience in building annual budgets and conducting monthly rolling forecasts.
- Plan-fact analysis: ability not only to collect data but also to identify the reasons for deviations, and prepare clear presentations of results for the business.
- Contract support: experience in financial expertise of contracts (especially specific ones – with individuals, self-employed, influencers, event agencies), control of budget limits and financial terms
