We are looking for a Financial Business Partner for Cloud Services to join the Astra IT group.

Position Objective:
To enhance the financial efficiency, transparency, and manageability of the cloud services division. To partner with business leaders to translate operational activities into financial results through in-depth analysis, planning, and control. To manage service cost of goods sold (COGS) and justify infrastructure investments.
Responsibilities:
Budgeting and Financial Planning:
- Development and consolidation of a detailed budget for the cloud services division:
- Expense budget: operating expenses (cloud infrastructure costs, software licenses, DevOps salaries, technical support)
- Procurement and investment budget (CAPEX): Planning for server equipment, network equipment, and data storage systems.
- Fixed assets (FA) and materials accounting: control over the FA lifecycle, depreciation planning, inventory accounting.
- Preparation of a long-term financial plan considering product development strategy.
Management Reporting and Analysis:
- Monthly analysis of plan-vs-actual deviations for revenue and expense items, identification of deviation causes, and formulation of recommendations for management decisions.
- Creation of business-friendly reports on the financial performance of cloud services (P&L by product/division/revenue type).
- Setting up project accounting, consolidating information on server utilization, and supporting the automation process, including billing.
Investment and Economic Analysis:
- Development and calculation of investment models (DCF, NPV, IRR, ROI) to justify the purchase of new equipment or the transition to new technological solutions.
- Analysis of payback periods for infrastructure projects.
- Economic justification for choosing between different revenue types, public cloud providers, and on-premise capabilities. Assessment of product profitability by division.
Revenue Forecasting and Analytics:
- Revenue forecasting with detailed breakdown by service type (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, backup, hosting, etc.), customer segments, and sales channels.
- Analysis of key growth drivers and risks for meeting revenue targets.
- Verification and support of commercial proposal preparation in collaboration with the sales department (checking substantiation, ensuring adequate profitability, price positioning, and comparison with comparable offers from key competitors).
Infrastructure and Cost Management:
- Analysis of monitoring system data for planning optimal server and network equipment utilization.
- Participation in capacity planning to prevent both resource shortages and excess costs.
- Control of resource utilization efficiency, identifying opportunities for infrastructure cost optimization.
Billing and Financial Operations Control:
- Verification of the accuracy of invoices issued to both external clients and internal counterparties (other divisions/companies within the group) for cloud services rendered.
- Control of settlement of intercompany transactions (transfer pricing).
- Interaction with the accounting and sales departments to ensure accurate and timely accounting of revenue and accounts receivable (AR).
Requirements:
- Higher education in finance, economics, accounting, or mathematics.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role as a financial analyst, business partner, or financial controller in an IT company, telecom, or cloud provider. A total of at least 8 years of experience in economics and finance.
- Deep understanding of management accounting and financial planning principles (P&L, CAPEX/OPEX, Cash Flow, BS).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas).
- Advanced user of 1C.
