Remote Vacancy.
Aviation company Aviarails is looking for a Product Manager (Expanse).
Travelpayouts is a platform that helps creators earn money from travel content and is part of the Aviarails group of companies. They are looking for two product managers for Expanse — a division focused on launching products for monetizing content on messengers and social networks.
Main Goal:
- Find in-demand ways for creators to earn and turn them into a working business for Travelpayouts.
What needs to be launched:
They are looking for one product manager for each of the two areas:
- Messengers: Telegram, WhatsApp, LINE.
- Social Networks: Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, Threads, X.
You will need to understand which creators can be helped, how monetization fits into their work, and which solutions they will use regularly.
You can rely on Travelpayouts' technologies and resources. However, there won't be a large development team at the start: it's important to reach out to potential partners yourself, test offers, assemble prototypes, and organize the first launches.
As a working business model is confirmed, you will form a team and develop the direction.
What you will do:
- Research the market and select an audience. Communicate with foreign creators, study their tasks, earning methods, and platform-specific work nuances.
- Test hypotheses with minimal costs. Find ways to get answers before full development: through a prototype, manual pilot, or a test with a few partners. Independently analyze results and decide what to test next.
- Create products based on Travelpayouts technologies. Collaborate with engineers to find solutions that help creators earn and require minimal additional actions.
- Guide partners to product adoption. Understand what prevents them from starting, getting their first result, and continuing to use the solution.
- Identify growth opportunities. Evaluate economics, attract new partners, and determine when confirmed demand justifies further investment in the product and team.
How to start and how results will be evaluated:
- At the start, you will need to select promising creator segments, test key hypotheses with real partners, and define the further plan: which solutions to develop, what to revise, and what resources are needed.
- Key metrics include new and active partners, regular product usage, and revenue for the segment. It's important to understand what drives results and whether they can be replicated when expanding the audience.
Candidate Expectations:
- Independence. You can move from an undefined task to testing and resolution, find missing information, and revise conclusions as data emerges.
- Practical approach. You can test an idea hands-on with a small budget, organize a pilot, and bring it to a clear outcome.
- English B2 or higher. This is needed for interviews with foreign creators, discussing offers, and working with feedback.
- Understanding of the creator business. You are interested in how authors create content, attract audiences, and earn on social networks and messengers.
- Experience in hiring and managing a product team. This will be needed as the direction grows.
- Experience launching products from scratch to sustainable results, working with products for bloggers and influencers, as well as Spanish, Portuguese, or French language skills will be a plus.
How we work:
- Opportunity to create a new direction relying on the technologies and resources of an international business.
- Work from anywhere in the world and payment in dollars.
- Open communication: direct discussion of ideas and quick decision-making.
- Benefits: voluntary medical insurance, psychotherapy or foreign language courses, sports activities, and sick leave.
- Opportunity to work in Phuket with an ocean view.
To apply with a cover letter:
- Tell us about the most memorable feature and service you launched. How did the insight come to you? How was it prioritized in the backlog? What business results did you achieve thanks to it? What led to its success?
