We are looking for a Financial Analyst (maternity cover) who is interested in understanding the business through numbers. You will build financial models, forecast results, and help make data-driven management decisions.

You will work with several business units: gather input from teams, translate ideas into numbers, develop scenarios, and present findings in understandable models and presentations.

We are looking for someone who can work with data structurally and quickly, thrives in a dynamic environment, loves logic and precision, but is also capable of seeing the meaning and context behind the numbers. Responsibilities:

• collect data from budget holders and business customers and consolidate it;
• prepare and update financial models (PL, CF) for the business unit;
• conduct calculations for various scenarios, assess the impact of project decisions on the financial results of the project;
• prepare final presentations and defend the business unit's budget, conduct variance analysis;
• forecast expenses, create budgets, and monitor compliance.
• build and maintain financial models for existing business units (P&L, Cash Flow).

What's important to us:

• at least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or financial modeling;
• a relevant degree in finance (economics) or technical field;
• understanding of management accounting principles and key financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow);
• mandatory experience in building financial models from scratch;
• excellent analytical skills, ability to draw logical and structural conclusions;
• you are an Excel guru (complex formulas, pivot tables, fast processing of large datasets);
• proficiency in PowerQuery, PowerPoint, Yandex.Documents;
• ability to process and consolidate a large volume of information;
• strong communication skills and the ability to articulate your point of view clearly and with arguments;
• attention to detail, systemic thinking, and readiness to work in a dynamic environment;
• understanding of digital products, product metrics, and unit economics;
• a high level of independence and problem-solving skills :)

Will be a plus:

• experience working with online education or IT products;
• experience with Think Cell (if not, we'll teach you).
