Web3 Growth Marketing Lead (DeFi & Product Ecosystem)
We are developing a web3 product ecosystem with a focus on DeFi and are looking for a marketer to take this direction on: connect products with a unified narrative, build audience acquisition and retention, and drive growth hypotheses to results. It's important to us that for you, web3 marketing means working with the community and on-chain metrics, not buying ads and reach for reach's sake.
Requirements
What we expect
- Over 5 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in web3/crypto (DeFi, NFT, or related), specifically on growth tasks.
- Over 3 years of experience managing marketing teams.
- Ability to work with crypto communities (Discord, Telegram, Crypto Twitter, Farcaster) at the level of culture and mechanics, not just "posting announcements".
- Understanding of tokenomics and incentive mechanics (tokens, points, airdrops, staking, referral structures; for DeFi – TVL and liquidity).
- Practical experience with various traffic channels: community/quests, KOL/influencers, paid crypto traffic, partnerships, content.
- Confident command of web3 growth metrics: CAC / cost-per-wallet, on-chain LTV, retention D7/D30/D90, funnel conversions, traffic quality (Sybil/bot control).
- Experience with analytics systems: on-chain and product; ability to independently assess effectiveness and draw conclusions.
- Cross-product thinking – the ability to maintain a unified narrative across multiple products in the ecosystem.
- High autonomy and B2+ level English.
Will be a plus
- Launch experience: TGE/token listing, airdrop/points seasons, NFT drops – with an understanding of how to avoid sharp dumps (TVL/liquidity cliff) after distribution.
- End-to-end analytics skills: "traffic → product action → payout/revenue".
- Experience with KOL/ambassador programs.
- Understanding of compliance: crypto advertising restrictions (Google/Meta), MiCA, KYC/AML.
- Experience or interest in GameFi/P2E: the ecosystem has and plans to have gaming products, so understanding gaming mechanics and game token economics will be a pleasant bonus (but this is not the primary focus of the role).
- Basic understanding of on-chain mechanics: smart contracts, wallets, gas, bridges – at a level to build correct messaging.
Responsibilities
What you will do
- Develop the web3 direction of the ecosystem: form a unified narrative and cross-product messaging across multiple products (primarily DeFi).
- Be responsible for the go-to-market of new products and major releases: positioning, value proposition, launch narrative, channel launch plan, and its execution.
- Generate growth hypotheses and launch them as measurable campaigns (hypothesis → audience → channel → budget → success metric).
- Drive acquisition and retention across all channels: community, quest/loyalty platforms, KOL/influencers, paid crypto traffic, partnerships, and co-marketing with ecosystem projects.
- Design engagement and retention mechanics: points programs, quests, referral and airdrop/loyalty campaigns, staking and incentive activations – with an emphasis on retention, not one-off farming.
- Translate product mechanics (tiers, NFT access, staking, referral structures, automations) into clear and convincing communication.
- Formulate content agenda and product briefs for SMM for releases; prepare materials for biz-dev partnership initiatives.
- Analyze results (on-chain and off-chain), calculate channel effectiveness by CAC/ROI/LTV and retention, and regularly report on metrics.
- Monitor the market, competitors, and current web3 / DeFi narratives.
