Editor for Yandex FinTech Magazine

We are creating modern and engaging financial services that are rapidly evolving. Therefore, we need another editor who can quickly understand our products and start writing about them.
Your tasks will include
Writing SEO articles based on briefs on financial topics for the Yandex FinTech magazine:
- Writing approximately 20 articles per month, actively using AI
- Understanding complex FinTech products, clarifying details with colleagues
- Fact-checking each of your articles — you are personally responsible for the accuracy of the information in each article
- Being part of the team's editorial process: participating in meetings, following the development of FinTech products — the vacancy implies full-time involvement
We expect you to
- Have at least 3 years of professional writing experience
- Specialize in longreads
- Be ready to provide a portfolio with examples of your texts
- Understand and be able to adhere to ToV (Tone of Voice)
- Be attentive to details: check AI-generated texts for factual errors and ensure narrative logic
- Not be afraid of complex financial topics and be willing to ask dozens of questions to the marketer
- Be capable of working independently
It will be a plus if you
- Have worked in FinTech
- Understand banking terminology
- Are communicative and meticulous
