AstraZeneca biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Supply Chain Management Director.

Key Challenges and Responsibilities:
- Development of the complex supply chain strategy: procurement, logistics of biological materials and finished products, warehousing processes, product traceability.
- Building the function from scratch: hiring and developing three deputy directors and their teams in accordance with the staffing growth plan.
- Formation of policies and standards for cold/cryogenic supply chains and ensuring GMP compliance at all logistics stages.
- Supply chain risk management and development of business continuity plans in case of supply or logistics disruptions.
- Defining the strategy for working with critical material suppliers (reagents, consumables) at the level of selecting and qualifying key partners.
- Budget ownership for the function, control of performance indicators achievement through deputies.
- Strategic interaction with the Production Director and Quality Director to synchronize supply plans with the production schedule.
Candidate Expectations:
- Higher education in logistics, economics, or pharmaceuticals.
- At least 7 years of experience in a leadership position within supply chains, including experience in the pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.
- Experience building a function from scratch, hiring and developing a team.
- Knowledge of GMP requirements for storage and transportation, including cold/cryogenic chain.
- Experience in supply chain risk management and business continuity plan development.
- Experience working with critical material suppliers and their qualification.
- Skills in managing the function's budget and setting KPIs.
