A BIOCAD biotechnology company is looking for a Director of Non-Production Procurement Department.
You are a procurement director who builds an effective supply system for the company in the non-production procurement segment. Your work is responsible for everything needed for the business to operate, but is not related to production: office resources, IT infrastructure, consulting, marketing, logistics, and services. Every ruble saved stays within the company and can be directed towards development or quality investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will develop and implement a non-production procurement strategy, form standards and forecasts so that the company always knows what and when to procure, and does not face delays in the operation of offices, IT systems, or service departments.
- You will organize supply chains and manage risks — from deadline control to supplier diversification, so that business processes run smoothly and dependence on a single source does not become a critical vulnerability.
- You will optimize costs through competitive procedures and market analysis, so that the company does not overpay for services and resources, and the freed-up funds can be invested in development.
- You will implement innovative practices in the team's work, including AI tools, to ensure procurement is transparent, documentation is standardized, and routine operations do not take up the team's time.
- You will manage the department — from recruitment and training to performance evaluation, so that the team consists of professionals who understand the strategy and work towards the common goal.
This job is for those who:
- See procurement as a strategic function that affects the entire business.
- Are not afraid to take responsibility for decisions that can save millions or, if mistaken, cost the company dearly.
- Can speak the language of numbers with the business, and the language of terms and obligations with suppliers.
- Are prepared for the market to change and the strategy to be constantly adapted to new realities.
This is not suitable if you prefer to work according to established procedures without the need to make decisions in conditions of uncertainty, or if managing a large team seems more like bureaucracy than an opportunity to influence results.
The Company Offers:
- Official employment according to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, competitive salary + annual bonus.
- Management of a department of up to 30 people with autonomy in decision-making.
- Opportunity to implement digital systems and influence company processes.
- Training at the company's expense — from industry conferences to leadership development programs.
