Agroeco group of pig farming companies is looking for a Director of Procurement Department.

Role Objectives

• Elevate the procurement system to a new level, making it a strategic asset and a source of competitive advantage
• Provide the business with quality resources at an optimal cost, directly impacting profitability and financial results
• Continue developing a highly effective, cohesive team of procurement professionals
• Implement a culture of continuous improvement based on data and analysis

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Update: In-depth analysis of markets, competitors, and suppliers. Formation and implementation of category strategies to reduce costs and improve quality
• Process Management: Full digitalization and automation of procurement activities within the framework of digital transformation strategy
• Team Management: Formation, development, and motivation of the team. Goal setting, KPI implementation, and competency development
• Supplier Relations: Building long-term partnerships, searching for and vetting new suppliers, contract negotiations
• Financial Responsibility: Budget management (P&L), control of economic effect and ROI
• Cross-functional Interaction: Close collaboration with other departments for end-to-end processes
• Risk Management: Assessment and minimization of risks in supply chains

Key KPIs:

• Volume of savings and cost reduction
• Fulfillment of the plan for quality of goods/services
• Adherence to budget and ROI of projects
• Efficiency and timelines of procurement procedures
• Team development and talent pool

Candidate Requirements

• Higher education (technical, economic, or financial)
• 5+ years in leadership positions in procurement for large businesses
• Successful experience in procurement transformation and automation
• Deep understanding of P&L, budgeting, TCO
• Skills in strategic analysis, negotiation, team management
• Systemic thinking, data-driven approach, leadership
