Product Data Management Engineer (PLM Data Manager)

We develop next-generation autonomous vehicles — from passenger cars to trucks. Our technology is based on advanced ADAS/ADS systems, where every detail, every line of code, and every sensor plays a critical role in safety and reliability. We are now reaching a new level of scaling — and we need a person who will become the master of reference data generated in the PLM system and distributed across various information systems.

What tasks await you

Reference Data Management You will manage all reference data generated in the PLM system (checking requests for creation, classification, entry into PLM), such as catalogs of fasteners, basic and auxiliary materials, purchased items, tools, equipment, technological operations, and transitions. You will need to ensure the accuracy of the data as a single source of truth for all design and technological departments.

Describing Reference Data Management Processes You will aggregate the needs of Yandex's design, technological, and production departments, as well as procurement specialists, regarding the parameters of reference information required for its entry into the PLM system.

Monitoring Process Compliance and User Training You will need to develop, document, and implement regulations for working with normative-reference information (NRI) — from receiving a request to create or modify a catalog to publishing up-to-date data in external systems. You will formulate attribute validation rules, responsibility matrices between departments, instructions for classification and filling of catalogs, ensure process compliance monitoring, and train users in working with NRI.

• A higher technical education
• Experience working with data in PLM
• Knowledge of XML structure
• Knowledge of MS Excel
