Chief Legal Officer / CLO / Legal Counsel in international B2B fintech

An international fintech company is looking for a strong hands-on lawyer to support a rapidly growing business: international payments, partner banks, and providers in various jurisdictions.

Responsibilities: • Commercial contracts: negotiation and signing of client, partner, payment, and provider agreements, agreements with partner banks • Regulatory and licensing: analysis of regulations in new jurisdictions, licensing support, support for market entry • Legal risk management: risk assessment, recommendations to management, management of external consultants • Additional: GDPR, IP, corporate governance, corporate transactions

What is important: • Commercial and corporate law with independent area of responsibility • Complex multi-jurisdictional B2B contracts • Ability to independently research the regulation of a new country or product • Understanding of payment processing risks • English C1

Will be a big plus: • Experience in fintech, payments, banking (EMI, MSB) • Participation in obtaining financial licenses • Agreements on acquiring, card programs, BaaS • International expansion, starting a career in a strong international law firm
