PR Partner for the Tech Team
Your responsibilities will include:
- enhancing the perception of Avito's technology platform through product stories, team expertise, and systemic communications;
- acting as a PR partner for business and development: working at the intersection of PR, product, and development, understanding how technologies work and how they impact the business;
- scaling technological projects in communications together with the DevRel team: from individual launches to a systematic agenda;
- synchronizing with product and technical teams on roadmaps, risks, and priorities, proactively incorporating communications into product releases;
- making complex technological topics understandable and interesting for various audiences;
- developing users' understanding of technologies and shaping the perception of the platform's technological capabilities;
- launching and supporting product and technological releases: formulating positioning, key messages, and PR support;
- identifying and packaging strong stories within verticals: from specific cases to systemic platform changes;
- developing the expert track for Avito's tech leaders: speaking engagements, interviews, columns, podcasts.
We expect you to have:
- experience working with cross-functional teams;
- at least 5 years of experience with a technology agenda;
- an understanding of how to create news hooks for complex topics;
- knowledge of relevant journalists, the ability to shape the news agenda, and write clear texts.
