Press Office Editor at Kaspersky Lab
Kaspersky Lab is looking for a Press Office Editor.
Responsibilities:
- Write and edit press office materials: press releases, news, articles, columns, media comments, and official statements
- Independently gather information: communicate with experts, clarify information, conduct short interviews, and work with quotes
- Adapt complex IT and cybersecurity topics for media, clients, and the general audience
- Localize and translate English-language materials, adapt global releases for the Russian market
- Coordinate materials with PR managers, experts, and other internal stakeholders
- Prepare and publish materials on the company website, moderate the press office's Telegram and MAX channels
- Participate in media event preparation: develop content plans, compile press kits, prepare informational materials and presentations
- Participate in the preparation of research and materials based on their results
- Prepare regular press office reports and analytical materials for stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date corporate materials, media database, and editorial policy
What's important:
- 2+ years of experience as an editor, journalist, or author in the IT field
- Strong skills in writing and editing texts of various formats
- Experience working with a press office, PR, or corporate communications will be an advantage
- Ability to work with complex technical information and translate it into understandable language
- Understanding of IT terminology; experience in cybersecurity will be an advantage
- English language proficiency from B2: ability to translate and adapt English-language materials is required
- Ability to independently gather information, work with experts, and manage a large number of approvals
