1. About Us

Opened in 2011, the Dmitry Rogachev Center has become one of the largest medical institutions providing high-tech care to children with hematological, oncological, or immunological diseases. The Center's laboratory complex comprises 16 departments addressing both clinical diagnostic and research tasks.

2. Recruitment Motivation

At the beginning of 2026, the organization's management made a strategic decision to continue developing its own laboratory information system (LIS) through in-house development. To strengthen the existing development team, a specialist is needed who can provide technical support for existing LIS modules with the prospect of participating in the development itself.

3. Main Responsibilities

3.1. Understand the Center's laboratory processes and the team's automation efforts.

3.2. Master the existing LIS functionality to address the following tasks:

• Install the information system (including physically connecting equipment, populating and configuring directories, etc.), and provide technical support for the installed system.
• Configure and modify system settings and directories according to customer requirements.
• Connect external equipment (analyzers, label printers, etc.) to information systems, and configure data exchange.
• Communicate with managers and technical specialists from companies servicing and supplying laboratory equipment.
• Train laboratory personnel on how to use the system.
• Provide consultations and support to users (mostly remotely, but requiring physical visits to the laboratory when necessary).
• Maintain project documentation and populate the knowledge base.
• Receive tasks for developing additional modules and enhancements from management and laboratory employees. Formulate technical specifications based on received tasks and hand them over to programmers.

3.3. Secondary: Participate in the development of new LIS functionality.

4. Candidate Requirements

• Analytical mindset: You will need to delve into non-trivial, poorly formalized, and non-standard processes within a highly specialized context.
• Stress resistance: 16 laboratories mean 16 teams with whom you need to find common ground and establish constructive interaction.
• Discipline: Ability to formalize and clarify requests, which may not always be sufficiently detailed. Participate in systematic project management. Timely and adequate response to both routine and urgent requests.
• Interest in the field: Requires consistent and deep immersion in issues at the intersection of medicine and IT.
• Professional skills for involvement in development:

• Understanding of the architecture and principles of relational databases (specifically MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of C#, .NET platform
• Optional: experience with Vue JS
