Yandex Food is a food delivery service from restaurants and a grocery delivery service from stores.

We are looking for a financial analyst to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for handling financial matters, performing modeling, preparing presentations for Yandex Food's top management, and much more. You will actively collaborate not only with the finance team but also with business stakeholders—the logistics team.

What tasks await you

Analytics and Financial Partnership You will seek opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. You will need to analyze how the cost of an incremental order correlates with courier incentive mechanics, as well as assess courier profitability considering their acquisition cost.

Financial Modeling You will model the impact of various initiatives on courier costs. For example, analyze how changes to the courier incentive system or growth in deliveries using in-house auto-couriers affect expenses.

Budgeting and Financial Closing You will, together with the business, forecast and analyze logistics costs (courier payouts and acquisition, operational expenses) and control operational costs in the ERP system.

We expect you

• Have over one year of experience in financial controlling, corporate finance, or financial analytics
• Turn business problems into analytical tasks
• Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint: know complex formulas, create pivot tables, create charts in Think-cell, actively use BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Communicate well with people
