Strategy Manager

The Strategic Analysis and Portfolio Management Department participates in projects that influence the company. We interact with partners both within Yandex and with external counterparts in Russia and other countries. We are looking for a Strategy Manager who is not afraid of responsibility and is ready for creative, meticulous work.

What tasks await you

Searching for new opportunities for Yandex business growth You will need to evaluate and analyze key trends in Tech and generate ideas for developing Yandex's current products in line with these trends. You will also be responsible for searching, analyzing, and evaluating opportunities for growth through launching new products, partnerships, or acquiring other companies.

Assessment of potential revenue and unit economics You will conduct modeling to assess the feasibility of launching new projects or acquiring companies, as well as create financial forecasts for projects and calculate key profitability indicators for them.

Monitoring the implementation of initiatives Together with project teams, you will formulate key performance indicators for monitoring project implementation, track their regular execution, and maintain reporting.

We expect you to

• Have worked in investment funds, consulting companies, or an M&A boutique for more than five years
• Graduated from a top university in finance, economics, or management
• Have experience working on projects in Tech and IT
• Have an excellent command of English
• Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint: you know complex formulas and can create pivot tables
