What you will do:
- analyze user behavior — from the first visit to the transaction;
- find product growth points: conversion, retention, activation, engagement;
- formulate and test hypotheses with data together with product managers;
- calculate and track key product metrics (DAU/MAU, funnel conversions, lead time, etc.);
- prepare reports and dashboards, automate analytical reporting;
- participate in the design and analysis of A/B tests;
- ensure data quality and develop the event model:
- help the team make decisions based on numbers, not intuition.
What we expect from you:
- higher technical, mathematical, or economic education;
- at least 1 year of experience in analytics (product or related);
- confident command of SQL and understanding of query and data mart building principles;
- good knowledge of mathematical statistics and probability theory: distributions, confidence intervals, significance, interpretation of A/B test results;
- knowledge of data visualization principles and experience building dashboards;
- understanding of product metrics and user funnel logic;
- ability to formulate hypotheses and test them with numbers;
- skill in presenting results and arguing decisions to the team.
Will be a plus:
- experience with BI tools (Metabase, Redash, Tableau, etc.);
- Python skills (pandas, numpy, matplotlib);
- understanding of unit economics and cohort analysis;
- experience in designing events and tracking.
- experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Yandex.Metrica, etc.);
- experience in marketplaces, e-commerce, or classifieds.
