• launch events and internal activities that you won't want to skip
• influence processes, not just execute them

• experience as HRPP/HRG and an understanding of how business works
• ability to make decisions independently and drive processes
• easily find common ground with people
• it's important to you what happens in the team, not just “closing tasks”
