What tasks await you

Working with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies You will work with cutting-edge technologies from the world of networks and software, including the best open-source software, Yandex's developments, and our team's work. You will be responsible for the connectivity of virtual machines within the cloud, as well as their connection to the external world. You will implement network services such as DNS, L3 and L7 load balancers, Stateful NAT, Cloud Interconnect.

End-to-end planning and execution of major cross-team projects You will be responsible for implementing and rolling out new features or significant architectural changes.

Informal management of developers You will delegate the development of individual system components, manage project teams, and oversee quality.

Interaction with other departments You will need to interact with key stakeholders: the security team, product and customer architecture teams, and other departments. Together with them, you will determine the best implementation solution to address the client's problem.

We expect you to

• Write reliable, high-performance code
• Have excellent knowledge of at least one language: Go, C, C++ or Java
• Have implemented major (one-year+) projects in the role of technical lead, architect, or key developer
• Understanding of virtual networks and overlays, SDN, NFV, DPI, network protocols, routing and tunneling, BGP, MPLS — will be a strong plus
