Auto.ru is one of the largest and most well-known websites in the Russian Internet, where you can buy or sell a car. Our mission is to develop the Russian car market, making it transparent, convenient, and safe for millions of private users.

We create services that help people find their ideal car and complete transactions safely. These are complex and interesting product challenges where design directly impacts the experience of a huge audience.

Your key goal is to design and improve the user experience for the millions of people who come to Auto.ru every day to buy or sell a car.

What tasks await you

Designing key user scenarios You will develop design for the main Auto.ru services. You will make complex scenarios simple and understandable for users.

Generating and testing hypotheses Together with the product manager, you will generate product hypotheses based on data and research. Your task is to propose ideas, create prototypes, and conduct testing to verify what truly improves the user experience.

Improving the existing experience You will analyze the behavior of millions of users, identify pain points and growth opportunities to develop solutions that make using Auto.ru even more convenient and efficient.

Seeing tasks through to the result You will be responsible for the quality of design at all stages — from concept and prototype to handover to development and implementation oversight. It is important that the final result is not only beautiful but also solves real user problems.

We expect that you

• Have over five years of experience as a product designer in a B2C product
• Understand the specifics of working with a mass audience
• Know how to interview users to deeply understand their needs and pain points
• Have experience gathering requirements from various stakeholders and finding a balance between their requests
• Master the full design cycle: from research and concept to design and testing of interfaces
• Have advanced proficiency in Figma (automation, components, prototyping)
• Understand how your design decisions impact user metrics

Will be a plus

• You are proactive and act as a driver of change, constantly seeking ways to improve the user experience
• You strive to deeply understand the needs of ordinary users and bring them real value through design
• You have experience in e-commerce or with marketplaces
• You love cars
