Our tech stack:
- PHP 7.1-7.4, symfony1, symfony 4, Golang, doctrine, legacy libraries;
- MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB;
- Redis: caching, sessions, key-value scenarios;
- RabbitMQ: queues and background tasks;
- REST API, GraphQL, internal APIs/SDKs;
- website and legacy admin panel in PHP/PHTML/Twig, HTML/CSS/JS, jQuery, Webpack;
- Docker, Git, CI.
What we value in your experience and skills:
- commercial experience in backend development with PHP and Golang;
- experience in designing microservice architectures and interacting with various database types;
- understanding of modern infrastructure operations (Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services, monitoring);
- experience managing a backend team (3+ people) and conducting technical interviews;
- experience in implementing significant technical and organizational changes in a development team and fostering engineering culture;
- experience in creating and maintaining a technical backlog and understanding agile development principles;
- strong communication skills (defending projects to product management) and understanding how to "sell" the importance of technical tasks to the business.
We are primarily looking for a player-coach who will be hands-on a lot (50%) but will also be able to build systematic work on technical debt, engineering processes, and team culture.
