Role Mission

Be responsible for the design and user experience of mobile Zvuk. Your task is to develop key product scenarios and shape a holistic and consistent user experience with the service.

Zvuk is growing, and so are our expectations for product quality. Right now, we are forming a new structure for the design team, making it independent and influential. Within this structure, the role of the Main-direction leader is emerging.

You will be part of a design team that believes design is about solutions that change user behavior. We are looking for someone who shares this approach and is ready to build a team around it.

What Exactly You Will Be Doing

• Product Domain: Be the primary point of responsibility for the design of Main — the unified direction of the core mobile experience, including acquisition and conversion.
• Team: Own the Main design team: be responsible for its composition, workload, task distribution, and work efficiency.
• Hiring: Participate in hiring designers for the team, define candidate requirements, and assess professional levels.
• Development: Be responsible for the development of team designers, goal setting, regular feedback, and performance evaluation. Help designers grow their expertise and gradually take on more complex tasks.
• Hands-on Involvement in Key Tasks: Act as a player-coach — integrate into key tasks, take on challenging areas, and prepare production-ready design solutions.
• Product Work: Collaborate with product managers to shape priorities, analyze tasks and problems, define approaches to their solutions, and participate in product decision-making.
• Product Development: Independently identify opportunities to improve user experience, formulate new initiatives, and challenge existing product solutions.
• Planning: Manage the design resources of the domain — plan the team's work, balance current product tasks with product development initiatives.
• Quality: Be responsible for design quality within the domain, conduct regular reviews, help designers find strong solutions, and monitor the quality of their implementation in the product.
• Design Reviews: Set the direction for solutions within the domain and ensure the team's work aligns with the overall product design vision.
• User Scenarios: Be responsible for the integrity and quality of key scenarios within your domain.
• Collaboration: Establish effective collaboration between designers and product managers, development, analytics, editorial, research, and other related teams.

• How easily and productively designers collaborate with related teams — and how design becomes part of the overall product language.

You Will Succeed If You Have

• Strong Product Background: end-to-end cases from task definition to measurable results; ability to balance speed, quality, and impact on metrics.
• Strong UX and UI Expertise and high standards for interface quality. Readiness and ability for independent hands-on contribution.
• Experience in Product Design and experience managing or leading a design team.
• Ability to own not just individual tasks, but an entire product domain: see the interconnections between scenarios, teams, and business objectives.
• Strong Product Expertise: ability to independently understand a problem, formulate hypotheses, and find solutions with the product team. Ability to independently notice problems and opportunities in the product, not just work on assigned tasks.
• Decision-making skills and the ability to take responsibility for them.
• Extensive exposure and interest in developing the visual and product quality of the service.
