KION** is an online cinema that offers over 150 TV channels, thousands of films, series, cartoons, and documentary projects. The flagship direction of the platform is original content. Among KION originals are hits like "Pochka", "Oboyudnoye soglasie", "Pervyy nomer", "Khrustalny", and "Akterishche", with new projects released on the first of each month.
Your responsibilities:
- Designing interfaces for various platforms: Smart TV, Android TV, STB, iOS, Android, and Web.
- Developing user scenarios, states, navigation, transitions, and animations.
- Working with research, analytics, and product data when making decisions.
- Creating interactive and, if necessary, functional prototypes to test hypotheses.
- Presenting and substantively defending your solutions to the team.
- Constructively debating with product managers, developers, art directors, and other team members if you believe a proposed solution is incorrect.
- Supporting development and ensuring implementation matches the design.
- Reviewing solutions after they go into production and initiating further improvements.
- Working with the KION design system: using existing components, developing the system, identifying systemic issues, and proposing improvements.
What we expect from the candidate:
- 5+ years of experience in product design.
- Experience working with multiple platforms (especially TV).
- Experience with real, launched products and understanding the full cycle from idea to production.
- Experience in designing TV interfaces.
- Proficient in Figma, with a deep understanding of: components, component properties, variables and modes, design tokens, libraries, design system architecture, and the connection between Figma components and production components.
- Understanding of typography, composition, grids, visual hierarchy, and working with images.
- For the TV direction, understanding the specifics of 10-foot UI, D-pad/focus navigation, remote control operation, focus states, and TV device limitations is important.
- Experience working with AI and new tools.
