IT Project Manager

Hi! My name is Alena, I'm an HR at Axmor.

We are currently looking for a Senior level Project Manager for a project with an English-speaking client.

The project involves a management system for boat stations and marinas (yacht parking): automation of boat space booking, management of additional services, billing, and payment processing. The system is actively in use and is constantly evolving. The Project Manager will directly interact with the client, participate in product development decisions, and coordinate a team of 12 specialists (backend, frontend, QA, Business Analyst, Designer).

Tasks:

• Managing the full software development project lifecycle
• Controlling budget, deadlines, and scope of work, managing deviations
• Client communication: status updates, approvals, expectation management
• Project team management (12 people): task distribution, workload control, blocker resolution, conducting 1-on-1 meetings
• Working with requirements: collection, documentation, and prioritization
• Analyzing and optimizing project processes, identifying bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions
• Preparing project reports for the client and internal team

Regular client meetings are held twice a week from 19:00 to 20:30 (NSK), so it's important to be ready for this communication schedule.

Required skills and experience:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in custom development
• Upper-Intermediate (B2+) English or higher for client meetings and discussing business and technical issues
• Technical background sufficient to understand the development lifecycle and communicate with the team
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Ability to work with unstructured business requirements and independently clarify client needs
• Proficient in Jira or similar project management tools
• Knowledge of contract basics (T&M, Fixed Price)
• Leadership qualities and the ability to manage a team without direct administrative subordination
