Business Development Manager (Banking Partnerships)

About the Company An international payment company operating with global markets and various business segments. The company develops payment infrastructure, acquiring, and alternative payment solutions, collaborates with merchants in different regions, and actively scales its business worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Search and attraction of banks and EMIs in different jurisdictions
• Building and developing correspondent relations (nostro accounts)
• Negotiations on opening accounts, terms, limits, and risks
• Managing partnerships from first contact to full launch
• Working with Compliance and Legal departments within the scope of banking onboarding
• Participation in structuring payment flows (SEPA, SWIFT, etc.)
• Development of long-term strategic relationships with banks

Requirements

Mandatory:

• 3+ years of experience specifically with banks / EMIs / banking partnerships
• Practical experience in: opening accounts working with correspondent banking interacting with banks on risk/compliance issues
• Deep understanding of: cross-border payments banking infrastructure
• Real contacts in banks / EMIs
• Strong negotiation experience with financial institutions

Will be a plus:

• Experience working in PSP / fintech on the banking side
• Understanding of the regulatory landscape (EU / offshore)
• Experience working with high-risk segments

Candidates without experience in direct work with banks (e.g., only PSP or sales) will not be considered.
