Hello, friends! For almost 2 years now, I've been developing analytics in Yandex Fintech. Not so long ago, we launched and are actively developing Payoffline — a product that turns QR codes into the center of financial life. Payments, tips, installment plans (BNPL), merchant loyalty, cross-sells — all of this is already working or will launch any day now. The goal is the same as Alipay's: to make QR code payments as natural as barcode scanning was in 1994. Our team is being formed from scratch. We are not just launching a service, but building an ecosystem where every code scan brings users closer to greater financial well-being. You will join the team at the very beginning, when every decision matters, and every dashboard influences strategy. We work in conditions of high uncertainty but with access to data from the entire Yandex ecosystem: from taxi and carsharing to Yandex Plus and Advertising. Growth and Acquisition — You will build analytical instruments with key acquisition metrics and forecast promotion effectiveness down to the partner level, which will allow managing growth and investments based on data. — Measure incremental new users and GMV by channels to consciously manage investments in acquisition channels. — Measure the effectiveness of promotional tools (00X, discounts, cashback, etc.) and their impact on new user acquisition and GMV by partners. — Identify target segments for applying mechanics (00X, discounts, cashback, etc.) and increasing LTV. — Evaluate the quality of acquisition.
Commerce — You will calculate the cost price and profitability of partners, and determine tariff boundaries for merchants (debit, Split).
Economics — You will need to detail the PnL (overall ownership is with financial analysts, for us — depth across every slice). — Study the economics of Split and Super Split, and the effectiveness of promotions (economics before and after promotion). — Find insights for monetization hypotheses. — Be responsible for analytical support for OPEX optimization.
