Head of Event Projects
An experienced head of the event department is required for a dynamically developing team, responsible for the strategic and operational management of the events direction. Your task is to form and implement the company's comprehensive event strategy, manage the team, ensure high quality project implementation, and strengthen the brand's presence on key industry platforms.
Responsibilities
- Formation and management of the company's annual event plan
- Organization of participation in key industry events, including CIPR, AI Journey, SPIEF, specialized exhibitions, conferences, and stand projects
- Development of event concepts, company positioning, and formation of a strong employer brand and company brand on external platforms
- Creation, defense, and control of the department's budget, cost optimization, and financial planning
- Preparation and support of tender documentation, participation in tender procedures
- Planning and implementation of marketing activities within events: PR campaigns, special projects, promotions, and promotional activities
- Analysis of event effectiveness (KPI, MQL, reach, cost per contact, ROI), preparation of analytical reports and recommendations
- Interaction with contractors, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful project implementation
- Coordination with related company departments: marketing, PR, sales, product development, HR, procurement, legal, and financial departments
- Formation of technical specifications for the production of stands, printed materials, promotional products, and other marketing materials
- Management of the event department team, task assignment, deadline control, and employee development
- Search and implementation of new solutions in the field of event organization, exhibition activities, and corporate merchandise
- Monitoring of industry trends and best practices in events and the IT industry.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in managing an event department
- Proven experience in organizing large industry events, conferences, forums, and exhibitions
- Experience with corporate, government, or large B2B projects will be an advantage
- Skills in preparing and supporting tender documentation, experience in successfully completing tender procedures
- Ability to work with analytics, calculate and interpret KPIs, MQL, reach, and other marketing indicators.
- Experience in forming, defending, and controlling marketing and project budgets
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects and effective interaction with related company departments
- Confident command of project and task management tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar systems)
- Skills in resource planning, team workload control, and project timeline management
- Knowledge of the promotional products market, exhibition industry, and principles of preparing technical specifications

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Instrumental command of AI for analysis, generation, and automation
- Experience in creating AI agents and using them in work will be an advantage
- Experience using GigaChat, Kandinsky, and similar tools in products, skills in creating and using AI agents.
- Understanding of the specifics of the IT market and modern trends in organizing industry events will be an advantage
- Development of unique concepts for corporate, marketing, and public events
- Experience in Event Management, Marketing, or Creative Projects
- Ability to be creative, come up with fresh ideas and non-standard solutions.
