Product Manager for the Effectiveness Team, Plus AdTech
Yandex Plus AdTech is a team that connects advertising technologies, gamification, and the "Svoi Plyusy" loyalty program. We create B2C mechanics for users, advertising formats for B2B, and integrations for the entire business group of personal services.
For Plus AdTech to work effectively, it's important to find a balance between user and partner satisfaction. To do this, we personally select for each user what to show them, when to show it, and under what conditions. The effectiveness team is responsible for this. We develop personalization of offers and promos on our surfaces, manage their economics (face value/threshold/conditions) and prove the effect through experiments to scale the best solutions.
Offer personalization: what to show the user right now Using ML or heuristic rules, you will decide which promos and mechanics to show the user on our surfaces: to whom, when, and in what context. Search for new points where personalization provides maximum effect and turn them into hypotheses and launches. Together with ML and analytics, improve business rules/ranking/models so that relevance, conversions at various steps, and retention grow.
Promo code/points economics: how to earn more and not overpay You will manage promo parameters (face value, threshold, conditions) and ensure that the promo works and expenses for points/discounts are under control. Find a balance between user satisfaction and financial metrics: revenue, margin, efficiency per user. With the help of the analytics team, defend the economics of decisions with data: where a promo really provides an increment, and where it's a "discount for the sake of a discount."
