**Legal Counsel (Middle/Senior) / Nota Group ** Remote

Nota Group is an international fintech group (private banking, neo-banking, infrastructure for international settlements, FX, and cross-border payments). We are looking for a lawyer to ensure compliance and build relationships with banks and payment providers.

What you will be doing: • Legal onboarding of the company into banks and payment systems (from application to account opening)
• Preparation of documentation packages for banking due diligence (corporate kit, licenses, UBO, business model description, policies)
• Conducting negotiations and correspondence with banks and providers, promptly responding to their requests
• Analyzing and approving agreements with financial suppliers
• Maintaining existing banking relationships: updating documentation, responding to reviews
• Monitoring compliance of activities with licenses and regulatory requirements
• Developing and updating client agreements (ToS, User Agreements) in line with the business model and license frameworks

Requirements:
• Higher legal education
• At least 1 year of experience in a regulated fintech company (EMI in Europe, MSB in Canada/USA, or another licensed organization)
• Hands-on experience onboarding fintech companies into banks/payment providers: documents, due diligence, negotiations, account opening
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks for licenses and product limitations
• Experience in preparing and managing client agreements for fintech companies

Will be a plus:
• Experience in client onboarding (CDD/EDD, verification, decision-making)
• Experience with KYC/KYB tools (Sumsub, Veriff, and similar)
• Interaction with regulators (FINTRAC, FinCEN, etc.)
• Experience working with multiple jurisdictions simultaneously
