About the Product
We develop the Yandex Go and Uber Russia applications, backend systems for call centers, and B2B platforms.
Our technologies help make daily travel more efficient and simpler. The core of Yandex Go is a system of 1000+ microservices that enables user trips in more than 30 countries. These are services for passengers, drivers, taxi fleets, and external partners. We also work on the service's internal algorithms to keep user prices low and driver earnings high.
Our own infrastructure development allows us to roll out new code in a matter of hours while maintaining availability of at least 99.99%.
About the Team
Our team's primary goal is to increase the reliability of Yandex Go services. We constantly improve the technological world around us to make our services better, more stable, and more convenient.
When solving tasks, we rely on SRE approaches. This helps us work with hundreds of microservices and databases, enables continuous code delivery (CI/CD), and a short time-to-market for new solutions. We love modern, cutting-edge technologies and approaches, and we try to write a lot of code as part of our daily tasks.
About the Projects
To ensure our services operate, we have deployed hundreds of automated MongoDB and PostgreSQL DBMS instances. Many of our DBMSs are business-critical and handle loads of hundreds of thousands of requests per second.
We are looking for a DBA engineer who will help us improve the reliability of our DBMSs and services.
