SRE for Managed Service for PostgreSQL

Our product is a service for managing clusters of the popular object-relational DBMS PostgreSQL within the Yandex Cloud infrastructure. Managed Service for PostgreSQL is a convenient, scalable, and fault-tolerant tool. We support the operation of all major Yandex services (Taxi, Food, etc.). And we are looking for an SRE who will be responsible for infrastructure tasks, scaling, and service fault tolerance.

What tasks await you

Problem Solving Solve operational problems of DBMS from our portfolio.

Service Improvement Improve service stability, fault tolerance, and scalability.

Service Development Actively participate in service development.

We expect that you

• Have experience in industrial operation of Unix systems
• Have worked with databases
• Can work with configuration management systems (Salt, Ansible, etc.)
• Write scripts to automate routine work

Will be a plus

• Know Python, Go, C, C++
• Understand the architecture of any database
• Have a Yandex Cloud Certified Engineer Associate certificate or other certificates from Yandex Cloud
