Senior Product Manager in Search

United Company Wildberries and Russ is an international technology company formed by the merger of two market leaders — IT company Wildberries and outdoor advertising operator Russ. The Search team does everything to ensure users easily find exactly what they need — even if the query is imprecise or too general. We are improving ranking, developing personalization, and are responsible for navigational tools in search: suggestions, filters, and other mechanics that help users choose the right product. By analyzing user behavior and regularly testing hypotheses through experiments, we improve the relevance of search results and launch new search capabilities. Our goal is to make search truly convenient and helpful for making choices, and to ensure sustainable GMV growth for the business. We are looking for a product manager who makes data-driven decisions based on experimental results, is not afraid of technically complex tasks, and knows how to build effective interaction with various stakeholders.

What needs to be done

• Identify growth points for search quality based on analysis of user data and research, form a product vision and mid- to long-term roadmap;
• Work with key search metrics: relevance, conversion to purchase, advertising revenue, user satisfaction — and manage development priorities based on data;
• Closely interact with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, product analysts, and other internal and external stakeholders for the successful launch of solutions and achievement of business results;
• Analyze results after launch and ensure continuous product improvement.

What experience and knowledge are needed

• Over 5 years of product management experience in AI/ML, search, recommendations, or e-commerce;
• Experience in full product lifecycle management: from planning and launch to development and optimization;
• Ability to formulate hypotheses based on data, test them through A/B testing, and make informed decisions;
• Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies and the ability to build a product strategy to solve search and recommendation tasks;
• Skill in coordinating complex requirements from various stakeholders and prioritizing based on business impact;
• Experience managing a team of product managers will be a plus.
