Logistics company LogLab is seeking a Financial Business Partner for International Logistics and Foreign Economic Activity (FEA).
Responsibilities:
- Planning and financial control of transactions
- Verification of financial and economic parameters of transactions before their approval and launch
- Verification of the completeness of accounting for all cost components: international transportation, terminal and warehouse services, customs clearance, insurance, agency services, bank fees, and other related expenses
- Control of compliance with approved requirements for minimum margin and other financial parameters of transactions
- Monitoring of accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Control of the currency component of transactions: currencies of income and expenses, applied exchange rates, and settlement terms
- Analysis of exchange rate differences and their impact on financial results
- Control of terms and financial conditions of settlements with foreign suppliers, carriers, agents, and other counterparties
- Control of settlement terms with clients, including advance payments, payment deferrals, and credit limits
- Assessment of the impact of payment terms and transaction execution timelines on working capital needs and cash flow
- Participation in the automation of operational accounting based on the Logismart and 1C:Trade Management software solutions
- Formation of unified principles and methodology for calculating planned and actual profitability in the operational and management context
- Development and improvement of the financial control system for international logistics, FEA, and trade agency transactions
- Development and improvement of economic calculation models
- Management reporting and financial analytics
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience as a financial analyst, financial controller, FEA economist, chief specialist in economics/finance/currency risks, financial business partner, or head of a financial department
- Experience in FEA, logistics, retail, or banking; management experience is not mandatory
- Knowledge of RAS (Russian Accounting Standards), the Tax Code of the Russian Federation, legislation in the field of FEA, international trade, and cross-border payments
- Excellent command of Excel, ability to work with large datasets, perform financial analysis, and prepare management reports
- Confident command of 1C; experience with Logismart will be a significant advantage
