Every day, the Yandex Urban Services business group tackles complex technological challenges to simplify the lives of millions of users. Our services — Yandex Go, Market, Delivery, Food, and Lavka — run on the technological platform of Yandex Urban Services.

We are looking for an experienced and independent DevRel Partner. You will be leading the direction for Yandex Delivery and working on projects for the entire business group.

What tasks await you

Stakeholder Interaction You will study the brand's needs in the areas of technology PR and DevRel, build effective interaction with stakeholders (CTO, HRD, and development leads), and justify the plan of activities.

Event Organization You will conduct meetups, meetings, conferences, and other events — both internal and external. It is necessary to coordinate the team and contractors, develop concepts, and form program agendas.

Supporting Content Production Our ambassadors regularly publish articles on Habr and Technosite and participate in podcasts — both our own and external ones. You will help them come up with topics for materials and presentations and supervise the process.

DevRel Strategy One of the key directions of our strategy is increasing the number of ambassadors and their professional growth as content authors. You will attract specialists to DevRel activities, help them write articles, and improve their public speaking skills to make their talks more engaging.

We expect that you

• Have worked in promoting an IT product for more than three years
• Have created technology-related content for Habr, Telegram channels, YouTube, and other platforms
• Have built communities around development areas
• Have created large-scale events for the IT market
• Possess advanced soft skills, can work in a team and build one
• Love unconventional solutions
• Quickly adapt to changes and make decisions flexibly
• Want to independently figure out the unclear and build a system where it doesn't exist but is needed
• Understand how to organize events and have experience organizing them
