We are a large travel company that has been organizing group tours for 6 years. During this time, over 20,000 tourists have traveled with us, and today we conduct dozens of tours every month and continue to grow.
We are currently developing a separate LLC as a tour operator and are looking for a strong accountant to whom we want to completely transfer the company's accounting and tax department. The General Director is hiring personally, so please make it clear in your cover letter that you have read the vacancy, not just responded.
We need not just a person "for filing reports," but a full-fledged team member who will bring order to their area and can independently be responsible for it. Given our active growth, combining jobs or resting at work will NOT be possible.
We are a travel company, which means our accounting is not the most boring :) Lots of tourists, contractors, incoming and outgoing payments, refunds, checks, documents, tours, and operations that are important to reflect correctly and on time. We have an online cash register, 1C, Electronic Document Management (EDO), electronic tour voucher system, employees, and interaction with government systems.
At the same time, we don't want someone who will heroically sort through eternal chaos. Our goal is the opposite: to build processes so that everything works systematically and predictably.
We already have a financial manager, so the accountant will not be left alone with all the company's finances. Management accounting, financial planning, analytics, and forecasting are the responsibility of the financial department. Your area is the accounting and tax accounting of the LLC and order in everything related to it.
We will work comfortably together if you:
- love order and notice when something is missing yourself, rather than waiting for a manager to find a problem;
- are able to not only complete a task but also be fully responsible for your area;
- follow changes in legislation and can timely say: "From this month, we need to do it this way";
- are not afraid of a large number of operations and know how to turn them into an understandable system;
- are comfortable with automation and new services and do not consider Excel the pinnacle of accounting technology;
- can explain to the team in simple terms what is happening and what is required of them;
- meet deadlines without reminders;
- if you see a financial or tax risk, raise the issue before it turns into a problem;
- are ready to delve into the specifics of the travel industry and tour operator activities.
We are a fast-growing company, so new processes, systems, and tasks appear periodically. If you are more comfortable receiving a task once and performing it exactly the same way for the next five years, we are likely not a good fit for each other.
But if you enjoy establishing order, improving processes, automating routine tasks, and seeing the results of your work, there will be plenty of room for that here.
