Risk management for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) is a new direction at Yandex FinTech. We are developing SMB lending, improving risk assessment approaches, and investing in the automation of credit decisions. We are looking for a portfolio risk manager to work with our products. You will develop your own credit product, make data-driven decisions, and search for growth points.

What tasks await you

Managing limit policies You will work with Yandex's internal data and improve the limit policy to make optimal decisions.

Optimizing decision-making systems You will be responsible for the entire credit product lifecycle in a single framework: from application submission and monitoring to collection. You will make decisions on product and technology development to achieve the target risk-reward ratio.

Calculating product economics You will manage risks considering product economics and create financial models.

We expect you

• Have a higher technical (mathematical) education
• Have more than two years of experience in data analysis
• Have worked with various data visualization tools
• Know mathematical statistics and probability theory
• Know how to draw conclusions based on data
• Understand the principles of ML model operation and know how to apply them in practice

Will be a plus

• Have interacted with product and technical teams
• Have worked with legal entity data
